Thank you to Beautyheaven for allowing me to trial this La Roche Posse facial serum. I have only ever heard good things about this brand of skincare so was feeling very fortunate to receive this deluxe full size product! Have been applying it to my face morning and night for 2 and 1/2 months so far and I can honestly say that my skin feels smoother, clearer, softer and has less imperfections or uneven skin tone. I love the dropper application to be able to deliver the precise amount of serum to your face. The pink colour of the serum gives it a deluxe appearance. Easily absorbed into the skin, doesn’t leave any sticky residue. And the following morning when washing my face, the skin feels smooth and as if the serum has stayed on and worked overnight giving the skin a protective cover. I love this product and can vouch for its effectiveness.

It feel so gentle and glides effortlessly through your hair. I like that the brush is actually contoured to the curve of your scalp and easily adjusts to your head. The combination of the harder nylon bristles to detangle and massage your scalp with the soft boar bristles to help disperse your natural oils is really therapeutic. My new favourite hairbrush.

This portable rechargeable 2-in-1 hair styler (straightener/curler) is so convenient for those who want to style their hair on the go or while out traveling. The fact that you can charge it and then it has about 45mins run time is super unique (although I don’t believe mine lasted 45 mins before needing a charge). It has three heat settings depending on your hair type. I find that it does take a little longer than the 5 mins quoted warm up time. It has a two lock features; one to lock the ceramic plates together when storing it and the other lock is to prevent the power from accidentally being switched on. What I would have found useful is for that power lock to actually lock the power on to the setting you have selected. This is because I found when you are handling the straightener and trying to straighten your hair, your fingers can very easily accidentally tap the power switch and switch it off or select a different temperature. And also the lock for the plates was quite loose so that switch could also be accidentally moved and then the plates are prevented from closing together and therefore you can’t straighten your hair! When you do get it right, the straightener does work well. Using it as a curler is a little more tricky but I believe it can be done if you get the knack of it and do it often enough.

Recently received this as a sample as a part of the best in beauty marketplace event. I’m not one to usually use eye serum but willing to give it a go. I love the cooling massage tip applicator. As it is made from metal it is actually quite soothing and cooling when it touches your skin. It also has a push button to help dispense the serum from inside the applicator. It took me a while to work out this feature. After nearly 2 weeks of use I haven’t noticed any obvious changes to the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes or frown line. I would say that it’s likely, as with any serum that it pulls your skin together as it dries onto your skin. Probably wouldn’t fork out the money for this in the future.

Recently received this as a sample as a part of the best in beauty marketplace event. Soothing body balm. Smells so nice with peppermint oil complimenting the calendula and Manuka oil. It is quite a solid balm so requires a bit of warming up with the fingers to soften enough to apply it to your skin. So it was a bit tricky to use. I believe the tub will last me quite a while. I can’t comment on it being that soothing as I was never really able to apply enough and of it to have any effect. I like that it is Made in New Zealand.

Recently received this as a sample as a part of the best in beauty marketplace event. I’m not someone to use night creams that often, I suppose only when I get given one to trial! This one has a smooth consistency and easy to apply. It has a pleasant fragrance. This even tone night moisturiser is aimed at visibly reducing pigmentation which is something that I have an interest in. I have rosacea and can’t say that it improved over time but it certainly didn’t get any worse by using this night moisturiser. It does hydrate and illuminate as the description on the packaging suggests!

Recently received this as a sample as a part of the best in beauty marketplace event. I really like this exfoliating cleanser. Unlike other exfoliating cleansers I have tried in the past, this one is very fine in texture. It has a pleasant fragrance. Leaves a nice sensation on the skin and doesn’t feel like it has been scrubbed roughly and all the goodness from the face has been scrubbed away. This even tone exfoliating cleanser is aimed at visibly reducing pigmentation which is something that I have an interest in. I have rosacea and can’t say that it improved over time but it certainly didn’t get any worse by using this cleanser. It does purify and balance as the description on the packaging suggests!

Recently received this as a sample as a part of the best in beauty marketplace event. Having previously tried the mint lip balm in this range, I was looking forward to trial this berry flavoured one. Lovely berry taste, easy to apply from a squeeze tube applicator. Leaves a nice sensation on the lips. Lips feel moisturised but not greasy throughout the day. It is fast acting and my lips no longer feel irritated or like they are peeling. I like that this is Australian made and owned. Will happily purchase and use this again in the future.

Recently received this as a sample as a part of the best in beauty marketplace event. This cream has a nice fragrance and applies easily to the face. I recently tried the lip gloss from the Dermal therapy brand so I had no doubt that this very dry face cream would live up to its name. I wouldn’t say I’m one who needs a “Very dry face cream” as I have an oily T-zone. But the packaging for this cream did say it was useful to deeply nourish and repair dry and sensitive areas of the skin on the face and neck. And to help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. And contains oatmeal to soothe against skin irritation. So multiple other uses for the face. I have rosacea and can’t say that it improved over time but it certainly didn’t get any worse by using this cream. Happy to purchase in the future.

Bought this during the recent rewards room reopening. Hadn’t tried anything from the dermal therapy range before but thought it sounded like a powerfully effective lip balm. It didn’t disappoint. Easy to apply from a squeezable tube. Has a nice minty taste that’s not overpowering. Leaves a lasting smooth cooling sensation on the lips. They immediately feel moisturised and protected from the moment you apply the lip balm. No complaints. And you don’t need to use too much, the tube should last you a while!
